Printmaking

Printmaking
For ten weeks CF members have been
able to take advantage of free
printmaking
classes, led by Fine Art
student Ann
Jackson from Middlesex
University. Over the course of the
workshops participants learnt different
techniques including block printing,
marbling and even display.

At the end of the course participantsPrintmaking at CF
took their work to Middlesex University
to view a working studio and to
present their work in a different context.

Work produced during the course is
currently on display in the CF studios.

lifestyle of competing Paralympic athletes.

After school workshops have been taking
place in participating schools where

Adepta and Community Focus
Perform!
Members of Adepta, a charity supporting
people with learning disabilities, autism
and/or mental health problems, are
working with Community Focus’ Drama
tutors to devise a performance for
Paradigm’s 9th annual conference in
Manchester on 11 and 12 December.
Looking at the history of the services
provided by Adepta, the group is meeting
weekly to rehearse a play based loosely
upon The Christmas Carol.

The conference, which aims to celebrate
the activities and services engaging
people with learning difficulties in the
community, will be a fantastic platform
for the innovative work created at
Community Focus.
