Led by a skilled director, Scriptwriting
provides a chance for members
to develop their play writing abilities
and to learn sound and recording
techniques whilst working as part of a
creative team.

The group draws upon acting, music
and sound effects to bring together
short scenes, serial monologues and
full-length radio plays with the
assistance of a sound engineer.

The Community Focus Scriptwriting
group has performed readings in front
of invited audiences, produced
‘behind the scenes’ documentaries and
has broadcast recordings on London’s
Resonance FM. In spring 2007. 
Scriptwriting participants worked with
secondary schools in North West 
London to create three short plays - a
project aimed at challenging
perceptions surrounding disability.
